Between 2012-2016 I was Design Lead at Madgex in Brighton. Madgex digital products power the job boards of over 500 brands, in multiple languages to clients in 14 countries. They are relied upon by publishers and recruitment businesses including The Guardian, Washington Post, FT.com and Manpower. While at Madgex I concentrated on design systems as well as mentoring the designers. The Design Lead is responsible for providing design as a service to all areas of the business, with a focus on user experience.
UX Brighton host events and invite speakers to Brighton. I have been a regular attendee and given back by offering one-to-one advice at the UX Career clinic, which they host every year. In 2014 300 seconds gave me the opportunity to speak about Branding in the Browser to a supportive audience, as part of the Spring Forward: Brighton's month-long celebration of the role of women in digital culture.
